On the topic of constructive criticism. I grew up with a father that used it all the time and sometimes I was offended and he would comment that I don't know how to accept it. Now I am in a relationship with a man that does the same thing and also says that I can't handle it. I can handle constructive, polite criticism but when that's all I ever relieve, I begin to feel as if I can never do things right. It feels to me like I am being personally attacked. Any suggestions on the subject? |
